Balvenie har nu aftappet en 60 år gammel single malt, den ældste aftapning til dato fra destilleriet.
Aftapningen er en hyldest til Malt Master, David C. Stewart MBE, der har været hos destilleriet i 60 år.

Der er aftappet 71 flasker ved 42,4%

Noter (Balvenie):

Nose: Vibrant and lively with a mesmerising array of autumnal aromas; lavender, heather. Polished oak and vintage marmalade add to the incredible complexity.

Taste: Rich toffee, roasted coffee and beautifully layered oak. the flavour evolves with time revealing bursts of cloves, nutmeg, charred oak and candied orange.

Finish: Exceptional! Long lasting oak and spice.
