Udover tusindvis af nørdbilleder af mashtuns, stilla, washbacka, mills, fade, heatexchangers, spirit pipes osv osv blev et da også til et par mere almindelige af slagsen
På førstedagen havde vi et et frokost stop på Muckrach Lodge Hotel and restaurent. Defleste havde været meget tidligt oppe for at komme med flyveren og inden frokost havde vi allerede besøgt Ardmore og Glenfaclas, samt kørt over 100km !
Jeg fortrækker klart at få lidt bedre mad end den billige pubfood på den nærmeste, samt en god ale, og heldigvis forstod Aflodal at holde stop de rigtige steder. Og det var ikke engang dyrt !

Weatherspoon pub kæden havde real ale festival. 1.29 £ a pint. Og det smagte fremragende
Så husk at besøg Wick omkring d. 1maj næste år

Highland park graver tørv på Hobister Moss, der ligger på Pamonas sydlige side, ned med Scapa Flow
Her står Aflodal i tørv til halsen.
Den kompakte tørv i bunden er her op til 9000 år gammel. Highland Park siger selv de har tørv nok til 300 år
(men så har de resten af Orkney når den tid kommer )

Her kunne vi dyppe fingeren i lidt foreshot...ingen blev blinde
(Deres singlemalt fås meget billigt i danmark hos en discount kæde)
